I. Essay Competition

 ▣ ESSAY TOPICS: Two choices

Choice 1. Role of GMPA for Regional Collaboration

Choice 2. Policy Cases of Applying Knowledge and Skills to Practices                   

 ▣ ELIGIBILITY: All GMPA graduates working in the public sector 

 ▣ DUE DATE: 9 am, Tuesday, October 1, 2024 (Korean Standard Time)

 ▣ SUBMISSION METHOD: Via email to snugmpa@gmail.com

 ▣ BENEFITS and LOGISTICS:  

○   The 2024 APDP-GMPA Conference Committee will select five GMPA graduates for the 2024 APDP-GMPA Conference. The                         selected papers will be presented at the 2024 APDP-GMPA conference in person. 

○   The presenters will be provided with one round trip airfare (economy class) to Korea, hotel and meals, and an opportunity to                   make a presentation at the 2024 APDP-GMPA Conference to be held on October 31 (Thu) ~ November 1 (Fri), 2024 at the                            Graduate School of Public Administration, Seoul National University. An honorarium (KRW 300,000) will also be awarded to                    each presenter. 

  ※  YOUR ESSAY is to describe the role of the GMPA for regional collaboration or to  describe the details of policy cases of applying            your knowledge and skills learned at the GSPA-SNU to practices.

○   Freely write an essay (12pt, A4, five pages) including the background of policy implementation, primary policy goals and                           instruments, prominent policy actors, and your role as a changing agent, the knowledge and skills applied to practices,                 problems, challenges, policy outcomes and impacts, and future implications. 

II. Poster Competition

▣ POSTER TOPICS: Any public administration and policy-related issues in your Country
      : Please refer to the attached PPT template.

 ▣ ELIGIBILITY: All GMPA Alumni and GMPA Enrolled Students 

 ▣ DUE DATE: 9 am, Tuesday, October 1, 2024 (Korean Standard Time)

 ▣ SUBMISSION METHODS: Via email to snugmpa@gmail.com

 ▣ BENEFITS and LOGISTICS:  

○ The 2024 APDP – GMPA Conference Committee will review the submitted posters to be posted online and offline. A maximum                of 10 best posters will be selected separately for the 2024 APDP -GMPA Conference Poster Award (KRW100,000 each).
