NIIED-SNU Master’s Degree Program in Global Network

The SNU-GMPA is happy to announce that we will open the Global Network Program sponsored by NIIED, Ministry of Education, Republic of Korea, as follows:

▣  Degree: Master of Public Administration (MPA)

▣  Duration: September 1, 2026 ~ December 31, 2027 (16 months)

▣  Number of Participants: 10 current/prospective officials, professionals, or students in the field of global affairs
                                                            (e.g., working for Diplomatic Strategy in G7 or ODA countries)

▣  16 months Master’s degree program only without Korean language program

▣  Application Timeline

1) Application submission:  March 3 (Tue.) ~ March 13 (Fri.) by 14:00, 2026

2) Essay Test and Interview: April 20 (Mon.) ~ April 23 (Thurs.), 2026

*Essay Test and Interview will be conducted only for successful applicants from SNU-GMPA documents review

3) Recommendation to NIIED: late May, 2026

4) Final Selection by NIIED: late June, 2026

4)  Documents providing proficiency in Korean or English, including one or more of the following: 

• Certificatie of TOPIK(or TOPIK IBT) Level 3 or Completion of Level 4 at language centers in Korean universities

• Certificate of English Score: TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS 6.0, or TEPS 269

•  Official documents or school profiles verifying that all courses were conducted in Korean or English (Applicable only if the entire bachelor's or master's curriculum was completed in Korean or English) 

5)  Bachelor's Graduation Certificate (or Diploma) ★

6)  Bachelor's Degree Transcript (in English) ★

When applying, please submit a scanned copy of your degree certificate and transcript. The original document must be submitted after final acceptance. Applicants who graduated from overseas must provide the original document with an apostille or consular verification from a Korean embassy/consulate.

7)  Applicant's Proof of Citizenship:
* Submit a copy of your passport that is within the validity period.

8)  Parent(s)’ Proof of Citizenship (Required for both parents):
* Submit a copy of the parent(s)’ passports within the validity period.

9)  Proof of the relationship between the applicant and parents:
* Submit the applicant's birth certificate or family relation certificate, which verifies both the applicant's and the parents' names.

10) Certificate of Employment (indicating your position/job title and employment period) 

11)  Resume

▣  The application documents must be submitted as a single scanned file to the office of the Graduate School of Public Administration, Seoul National University, via email at snugmpa@gmail.com.

▣  Only the final selected candidates must submit the original application documents by mail to the office of GMPA, Seoul National University.
